潘智生,博士,香港理工大學(xué)土木及結(jié)構(gòu)工程系教授, 香港理工大學(xué)環(huán)境科技與管理研究中心主任, 香港政府環(huán)境咨詢促進(jìn)會(huì)執(zhí)行委員。

他于1982年在英國紐卡素大學(xué)取得工程學(xué)士學(xué)位, 1985年在英國帝國理工學(xué)院取得博士學(xué)位, 隨后在牛津大學(xué)做博士后研究工作。1989年回到香港后, 潘智生教授進(jìn)入香港政府環(huán)境保護(hù)署工作。1992年至今先后擔(dān)任香港理工大學(xué)講師,副教授,教授。

在香港理工大學(xué), 潘智生教授除了擔(dān)任繁重的教學(xué)工作之外,科學(xué)研究工作取得了卓著的成果. 在國際著名的學(xué)術(shù)刊物上發(fā)表論文120余篇。取得中國和香港發(fā)明專利8項(xiàng)。 2006年獲香港環(huán)保建筑科技大獎(jiǎng)優(yōu)異獎(jiǎng)。
