        長(zhǎng)期從事新興有機(jī)污染物的環(huán)境地球化學(xué)過程與健康效應(yīng)、光化學(xué)與光催化遷移轉(zhuǎn)化與風(fēng)險(xiǎn)消減機(jī)理方面的研究工作,重點(diǎn)開展有關(guān)環(huán)境水體和大氣中毒害有機(jī)物的環(huán)境催化凈化消除與污染控制原理及其區(qū)域健康風(fēng)險(xiǎn)削減等方面的研究工作。在國(guó)內(nèi)外高水平期刊上(如Nat. Commun.、PNASJACS、Energ. Environ. Sci.、Environ. Sci. Technol.、Appl. Catal. B: Environ.、Water Res.Environ. Sci. Nano等)發(fā)表SCI收錄論文500余篇, 發(fā)表論文被SCI他引17000余次。2014-2022年連續(xù)9年入選愛思唯爾發(fā)布的中國(guó)高被引學(xué)者榜單(環(huán)境科學(xué)類)。目前為Crit. Rev. Environ. Sci. Technol. (CREST)Appl. Catal. B: Environ.副主編及其他多個(gè)國(guó)際SCI收錄學(xué)術(shù)刊物編委和客座主編。目前主持國(guó)家重點(diǎn)研發(fā)計(jì)劃項(xiàng)目、國(guó)家自然科學(xué)基金國(guó)際(地區(qū))合作與交流項(xiàng)目、國(guó)家自然科學(xué)基金重點(diǎn)項(xiàng)目、廣東省珠江本土創(chuàng)新團(tuán)隊(duì)項(xiàng)目、廣東省重點(diǎn)領(lǐng)域研發(fā)計(jì)劃項(xiàng)目等。主持完成國(guó)家杰出青年科學(xué)基金、國(guó)家自然科學(xué)基金面上項(xiàng)目等20余項(xiàng)。獲得環(huán)境保護(hù)科學(xué)技術(shù)獎(jiǎng)一等獎(jiǎng)、國(guó)家教育部自然科學(xué)獎(jiǎng)二等獎(jiǎng)、廣東省自然科學(xué)獎(jiǎng)一等獎(jiǎng)。
